How to Play Emoji Alchemy
Welcome, Alchemist! Your goal is to discover new elements by combining existing ones.
Gameplay:
- Start with a few base elements in the "Elements" panel.
- To Combine:
- Drag an element from "Elements" to one of the two slots on the "Workbench".
- Alternatively, tap an element (in "Elements" or your "Collection") to view its info, then tap an empty slot on the "Workbench" to place it.
- Once two slots are filled, press the "Combine" button.
- If successful, a new element is discovered and added to your "Elements" and "Collection"!
Controls:
- ❓: Shows these instructions.
- 🔊/🔇: Toggles sound effects.
- 💡 (in result area): Provides a hint if you're stuck.
- 🌙/☀️: Toggles between Light and Dark mode.
- 🔄: Resets all your game progress (use with caution!).
Saving & Loading:
- Your progress is automatically saved in your browser.
- Use "Save Progress" to download a file of your discoveries (will prompt for name on first save).
- Use "Load Progress" to upload a previously saved file and continue.
